Trevor the Lotto multi-millionaire has bought his first home - with room for the Holden ute and boat, and his parents are close by.
The $26 million Powerball winner splashed out on a property near Auckland last week but dad Kevin wouldn't say where.
"There has been property bought but it's not for me to say where that property is," Kevin told the Herald on Sunday. "That is Trevor, that is his call."
However, it is understood Trevor's parents and his sister have been bought properties nearby.
Kevin said Trevor had looked at properties in Waikato but had widened his scope.
The 32-year-old hadn't been back to his rented property in Te Kauwhata but had been spending a lot of time with his parents and family in Auckland.
Kevin said Trevor had been "buzzing about" in his new car and had been shopping at local malls with his sister.
Trevor signed an exclusive deal to talk to the Woman's Weekly and asked that a donation be made to charity as payment.
That edition is on sale this week.
