Saturday did not see a winner for the $4 million Lotto First Division Powerball draw, meaning it will roll over to Wednesday.
The lucky numbers were 24, 39, 7, 18, 21, and 10, with the bonus ball being 34 and the Powerball 4.
The $1m First Division ticket was bought at Fresh Choice Te Awamutu.
From today, an extra $6 million in prizes will be up for grabs as Lotto’s Christmas promotion starts.
All Triple Dip players who buy their tickets between now and Saturday, January 3 will go in the draw to win either $50,000 – one of 100 on offer – or a life-changing $1 million.
The celebrations come weeks after a record-breaking $55m Lotto draw.
That massive prize was split between three players, each taking home $18.3m.
One of the tickets was sold at New World Kawerau and its owner, Clare Gallagher, said the town’s residents were “really excited about some great news for Kawerau”.
The other two winning tickets were sold at Pak’nSave Moorhouse in Christchurch and through the MyLotto app to an Auckland punter.
What to do if you win
Ticket holders can see immediately if they have won if they purchased a ticket through MyLotto. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.
For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.
Winners with physical tickets must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.
For the Powerball jackpot to be claimed, a ticket holder must get all six Lotto numbers correct as well as the added Powerball number.
