Lotto Powerball jackpot hits $8m tonight after rollover

Lotto Powerball has soared to $8 million for tonight’s draw and the lucky numbers have been announced.

The winning numbers were 37, 19, 8, 33, 29 and 11. The bonus ball was 3, and the Powerball was also 3.

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday evening and rolled over, with the jackpot now sitting at $8m.

Strike Four also rolled over and will be $400,000.

Tonight’s draw comes just a few weeks after the record-breaking $55 million Lotto draw.

The life-changing $55m draw was won by three players, each taking home $18.3m.

One of the tickets was sold at New World Kawerau and its owner, Clare Gallagher, said the town’s people were “really excited about some great news for Kawerau“.

The other two winning tickets were sold at Pak’nSave Moorhouse in Christchurch and through the MyLotto app to an Auckland punter.

What to do if you win

Ticket holders can see immediately if they have won if they purchased a ticket through MyLotto. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.

For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.

Winners with a physical ticket must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.

For the Powerball jackpot to be claimed, a ticket holder must get all six Lotto numbers correct as well as the added Powerball number.
