Lotto Powerball: One player wins $10 million

One person has won the $10m Powerball jackpot in tonight’s Lotto draw and five people have won $200,000.

There were no winners in Division 1, which meant the winner came from Division 2 thanks to a must-be-won provision being triggered.

Tonight’s jackpot was $10m after nobody won the $5m jackpot last weekend, though one lucky punter claimed a $1m First Division prize.

Tonight’s numbers are 40, 21, 34, 32, 14, 8. The bonus ball is 25 and Powerball is 1.

Lotto says tonight’s must-win provision is to help manage system demand before a “once in a generation” system upgrade, due to go live on September 29.
