White Island sightseers are being warned another eruption could occur 'at any time with little or no warning'.
The warning followed a small eruption at the island at 10.23am today.

Plumes of ash and steam rose from White Island in a small eruption this morning.
The eruption at the volcano off the coast of the Bay of Plenty lasted for about 10 minutes from 10:23am.
GNS Science volcanologist Craig Miller says the eruption could be part of a sequence "rampingup" to a larger volcanic event on the island.
