It's just plane crowded at aerodrome

ON SAFARI: Flight corridors and parking space at Hood Aerodrome in Masterton were at an absolute premium late yesterday afternoon as more than 60 aircraft from the Around New Zealand Air Safari 2010 landed. More than 160 pilots, passengers and supporters are involved in the safari, which is completing a journey started in Auckland and finishing at Queenstown in time for the Easter Weekend Warbirds over Wanaka airshow. The Wairarapa Ruahine Aero Club is hosting the two-day regional stopover for the safari fleet this weekend, which features recreational and military aircraft along with gyrocopters and passenger craft, including the massive Catalina.
