KEY POINTS:
14:41:We spent most of yesterday and all of last night doing anywhere between zero and 1.5kts, meaning we covered just 10 miles overnight.
So I'm currently listening to my iPod... That said we now have enough breeze to get the spinnaker up and we're moving at four knots towards where we want to go.
We on a line south of Cape Reinga and level with Kaipara Harbour and we're hoping for some stronger breeze this evening.
The issue we've got is that there's a strong southerly wind coming into Wellington on Saturday, so we want to be as far south as possible before that hits us otherwise it'll be very hard work coming into Cook Strait.
On the upside, the light winds have meant we've been able to get some sleep.
