Masterton shoppers can now order their groceries from the comfort of home.
Countdown in Masterton has launched an online shopping service, a service that has been available in other centres for some time.
Adam Hudson, the supermarket's national online manager, said personal shoppers picked the items customers have ordered, takingnote of any special instructions, such as how ripe they want their bananas.
Shoppers could choose to either have their purchases delivered to their door, or collect their shopping themselves.
The supermarket chain has also launched a mobile grocery shopping app for iPhone and Android users that allows customers to access their local Countdown supermarket.
The free app combines a digital shopping list with barcode scanning capability, prices, mySpecials and recipes, and can also connect to the customer's online shopping account via the mobile site.
Masterton shoppers will receive $10 off when they spend $100 or more online before August 10, 2012.
