Two German tourists are seriously injured after their van collided with a logging truck near Dargaville today.
Police and other emergency services were called to the crash south of the Northland town at 10.30am.
Dargaville Sergeant Garth Mackay said the crash happened outside a farm-visit attraction, the Kumara Box.
"The
van has been at the Kumaru Box, it's come out into the southbound lane and collided with a southbound truck heading towards Te Kopuru," he said.
"The van, with two female German tourists, has ended up on the other side of the road in a ditch."
