Save A gas leak at a South Auckland high school has been sealed after a digger hit a gas main on its grounds this morning.
A Fire Service spokesman said emergency services were called to Sancta Maria College on Te Irirangi Drive in Flat Bush about 10.20am.
The gas leak caused
the school's alarms to activate and the school was evacuated.
No one was hurt and students were back in their classrooms by 11am.
A Vector Energy spokeswoman said contractors had been on the scene and expected to have the leak completely sealed by 3pm.
