Former All Black Glen Osborne now a police officer

Former All Black Glen Osborne is now a police officer.

The 44-year-old graduated with his recruit wing from the Royal New Zealand Police College in Wellington yesterday.

Yesterday's ceremony came with another All Black connection - former coach John Hart is the wing's patron. Osborne and 59 recruits graduated as a part of wing 298.

Whanganui-born Osborne played in the black jersey 29 times between 1995 to 1999.

Hart was appointed All Blacks coach from 1996 to 1999.

He was awarded the Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 1997.
