Extra special Christmas for Lotto winners

A North Shore family will trade in their Christmas turkey for a memorable Christmas lunch after claiming last weekend's $2 million Lotto first division prize.

"All the family have put their orders in now for some fancy treats, so we are having angus beef steak, scallops and some lovely champagne, it will be a Christmas Day to remember," one of the winners said.

The family syndicate of five bought their ticket from Video Ezy in Torbay, Auckland.

A $4.8 million Big Wednesday prize won on November 17 has still not been claimed.
