Police have reassured the Dunedin public they are safe following a search warrant this afternoon.
The Armed Offenders Squad assisted police in carrying out a search warrant at a house in Mornington at 4pm.
Police said the search warrant was conducted without incident, and cordons in the area had now
been lifted.
They said one male occupant was currently speaking with staff, while a second female occupant was helping police with their enquiries.
