Save A man has appeared in court charged with using his dog as a weapon against police.
Bert Leonard Jury, 44, of Grey Lynn appeared at the Auckland District Court this afternoon charged with assaulting two police constables on Friday.
Jury faces a third charge of resisting police custody.
A police
spokeswoman said the officers were fine but it was a "very unpleasant experience".
She said one of the constables was attacked and another went to help.
