A dirt bike rider has died after a collision with a vehicle in South Auckland.
A police spokesperson said there was a serious crash yesterday evening at the intersection of Mill Rd and Airfield Rd in Takanini.
“[The crash] was called to emergency services around 8.30pm.”
The spokesperson said the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The Serious Crash Unit attended and inquiries to determine the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.”
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said two ambulances, two rapid responses and one ambulance were sent to the scene around 8.25pm.
