An Auckland cyclist has been injured after a truck driver allegedly opened their door while they were cycling past.
The cyclist has moderate injuries after being struck while travelling down Tamaki Dr, between Kohimaramara Rd and Selwyn Ave, at Kohimarama.
Police and ambulance were called at 9am and the cyclist
was treated at the scene.
A St John Ambulance shift manager said the cyclist would be taken to hospital.
The road isn't blocked and traffic isn't affected.
