Police are appealing for the public's help to identify a man who spoke to a young child in Nelson.
The man spoke to the child in the Nelson suburb of Enner Glynn.
The incident occurred on Tuesday.
The man was last seen walking north on Tuckett Place, Enner Glynn, before
turning west on to Waimea Rd.
The man is described as being of average height and skinny build, with pale skin and short, dark-brown, spiky hair.
He was wearing black shorts, a white T-shirt, dark coloured boots and black wrap-around sunglasses.
