Drugs and firearms have been discovered at southeast Auckland properties, while police arrested two gang-affiliated men.
Three search warrants were carried out by investigators from the police Motorcycle Gang Unit, with a 33-year-old patched member and a 30-year-old associate of the Comancheros being targeted.
The National Gang Unit’sDetective Inspector Wayne Gray said two men were arrested at separate addresses.
“As a result, we have located a press that will be alleged to have been used to press bricks of cocaine,” Gray said.
“Police have also seized a loaded pistol at one address.”
At another address, almost 1kg of a cutting agent was found with about 64g of methamphetamine.

The patched Comanchero is charged with conspiracy to deal methamphetamine, while the associate was charged with possession for supply of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a pistol and unlawfully possessing ammunition.
Both men are set to appear in the Manukau District Court this afternoon.

“It’s no secret that the Comancheros gang continue to impose suffering and a negative influence on many communities across this country,” Gray said.
“Police remain committed to using every opportunity to prevent and disrupt this criminal activity from occurring, and today’s enforcement is a good example of that.”
