Two people have been taken to hospital with moderate injuries following a crash on the Northern motorway which is causing delays for northbound motorists in Auckland.
The two people injured were being transported to North Shore Hospital by ambulance, a St John spokeswoman said.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ)attended the scene at 4.20pm following reports of a fuel leak.
The crash is now cleared after blocking the left northbound lane on SH1 Northern Motorway just after Lonely Track Road.
NZTA warned travellers to expect delays in the area and advised them to pass the crash site with care.

Meanwhile, traffic heading south on Auckland's motorways was crawling.
On the Northern motorway, southbound traffic was crawling from Esmonde Rd to the Harbour Bridge and traffic on Lake Rd was heavy.
Traffic signals said there was an "incident", with the speed limit reduced to 70km/h on the three open lanes on the Harbour Bridge.
Further south, a broken-down truck had blocked the left two lanes of the Southern Motorway heading south just before the Khyber Pass on-ramp. While it had since been cleared, traffic remained heavy.

The New Zealand Transport Agency warned motorists to expect delays.
