Another Facebook user on a Mt Albert community page suggested a traffic jam was stretching 2km along New North Rd from the testing station in Eden Terrace all the way to Morningside.
Authorities have put on more health staff and opened two new pop-up testing sites opened in Ōtara and New Lynn in Auckland.
These sites added to the four existing community testing sites in Northcote, Eden Terrace, Henderson and Wiri.
