It will be a battle of the colleges when the grand final of Netball Wairarapa's premier one inter-club competition is played next weekend.
St Matthew's Collegiate joined Wairarapa College in the competition decider when they scored a thrilling 37-36 semi-final win over Harcourts Collegiate at the Genesis Recreation Centre on Friday
night.
Wairarapa College had already booked their place in the final the previous weekend, also beating Harcourts Collegiate to achieve that distinction.
The victory by St Matthew's Collegiate gives them the chance to win back-to-back premier one titles.
They have played second fiddle to Wairarapa College through most of the club scene this season, but did place ahead of them at the recent Lower North Island secondary schoolgirls tournament.
