D-Day looms for Canterbury schools facing merger or closure.
Almost 40 schools are affected by the Government's restructuring plans - which have been sharply criticised by the schools affected.
On Monday, Education Minister Hekia Parata will announce interim decisions for 31 of the 38 schools involved.
About 5500 students are
affected.
She said there will be more consultation before final decisions are made in May.
