Police are urging parents not to let their children play alone in a Hamilton park after a young girl was indecently assaulted.
A 9-year-old girl and her 8-year-old sister were playing in Swarbrick Park, Frankton, on Sunday when a man indecently assaulted the 9-year-old.
The man left the park on a bikeand was last seen heading along Paterson St towards Killarney Rd.
He is described as about 40, with short brown hair, clean shaven and with gaps in his teeth. Anyone with information should contact Hamilton police on 07 834-9401.
