Citroen built 760,000 Traction Avant cars in various forms between 1934 and 1957.
Over Anzac weekend, the Citroen Car Club Auckland will celebrate the 80th birthday of Citroen's world-changing Traction Avant.
On Saturday, April 26, participants will gather at Continental Cars Citroen, Greenlane, at 8.30am.
They'll drive to Cambridge for lunch and on through Waitomo and Te Awamutu, before staying the night at Waitomo Village.
The run is just one of many being held all over the world this year, says club spokesman Christof Colpi.
"Citroen built 760,000 of these cars from 1934 to 1957.
"As well as looking beautiful, each one was crammed with technology well ahead of its time."
