Police are investigating a spectacular crash overnight in Christchurch where a car ploughed through a building and flipped onto its roof.
The single car crash happened on Breezes Rd, near the Shortland St intersection in Aranui, at around 2am today.
St John sent an ambulance and rapid response vehicle to
scene.
The driver, in his late 20s, was taken to Christchurch Hospital's emergency department with minor injuries.
A female passenger was not injured.
