Car hits house in Weymouth after driver has seizure

A driver has been taken to hospital after suffering a medical event and hitting a house in Weymouth this morning.

Police and St John Ambulance were called to Mahia Rd at 10.55am.

They received several reports about a car crashing into a house.

"The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital in a moderate condition," a police spokeswoman said.

"It appears they may have suffered a seizure or some medical event prior to the car leaving the road."
