Police have recovered a body from the Clutha River near Stirling.
Acting Sergeant Murray Hewitson said police found a male body in the Kaitangata branch of the Clutha River about 3.15pm.
He could not confirm if the body was that of missing Balclutha man Michael Dippie, 55.
