The New Zealand cricket team have arrived safely in Singapore on their way home from the shortened tour of Pakistan after yesterday's terrorist attack near their hotel in Karachi.
Chris Harris, a member of the team, said the players had been relieved to leave Lahore, where they had spent an hourand a half after flying out of Karachi.
A massive suicide bomb attack killed at least 14 people, including the bomber, close to the team hotel where the players were preparing to leave for the ground for their second test.
The tour was cancelled almost immediately.
Harris said the players were tired but in good spirits after touching down in Singapore.
"They seem reasonably happy, I think we were more relieved getting out of Lahore," he told Radio Sport.
