Local man Rhys Warren was arrested following a 22-hour stand-off with police, after he allegedly shot four officers who had been called out to a property that morning.
The 27-year-old -- who appeared in the Whakatane District Court the next day -- faces four charges of using a firearm against law enforcement.
He is due back in the Rotorua District Court on March 24.
