Those who had donated and shared karakia for the family were thanked for their support.

Laylah-Mae’s body was with the coroner and would be returned to her whānau soon, before she would travel back to Masterton for her tangihana.
The little girl was initially sent to Wellington Hospital but the family had been waiting to see if she would be transferred to Starship Hospital in Auckland.
Carterton’s South End School shared a post last week expressing deep sadness that one of the school families had experienced a “devastating accident at home”, saying the “whole family is heartbroken during this unimaginably difficult time” and sharing the fundraising page.
“Please keep Laylah-Mae and her whānau in your thoughts, and let’s surround them with aroha and support from our South End School community.”
Principal Kim Lupo last week told the Herald the family had been with the school for several years, with a couple of children attending the primary school.
She said they would do “whatever we can do to support them”, and they were saddened to know one of their families had experienced something “so devastating”.
A police spokeswoman confirmed officers were called to the Wairarapa address about 2.30pm last Wednesday to reports of a drowning.
“One person was injured and taken to hospital, but is now stable,” she said at the time.
Police have been asked for further comment.
Wellington Free Ambulance also attended the incident.
