A well-known Auckland mountain biking park will be closed for two days after the death of a rider today.
Woodhill Mountain Bike Park, in the north-west Auckland area, posted the news to Facebook this afternoon.
“We are very sad to share that a rider has passed away at our parktoday. Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time,” the statement read.
“The park will remain closed for the next two days. We will reopen on Thursday. We are also taking this time to support our staff and our riding community.”
