Commuters in Auckland faced major disruptions this morning with Western Line trains delayed and cancelled due to a power outage.
Trains reportedly stopped in their tracks, with one left stranded over a level crossing and blocking motorists for more than 15 minutes.
Auckland Transport’s (AT) website says people should expectdelays and cancellations due to an “overhead powerline fault”.
It says scheduled buses are accepting Hop cards and paper rail tickets.
