A shopkeeper has been stabbed after an armed robbery at an Auckland superette today.
The incident happened at Redhill Superette on Red Hill Rd off Dominion Road about 1.30pm, Inspector Andy Brill of northern police communications said.
Three people entered the store and stole some items, he said.
During the incident the shopkeeper's hand was stabbed.
One of the alleged offenders was described as in his 20s, with dark skin and short dark hair, Mr Brill said.
There were no descriptions of the other two.
Police, including CIB staff, were searching for the trio this afternoon, he said.
