An unoccupied Auckland house was gutted by fire overnight.
Firefighters were called to Oreil Ave, West Harbour, about 12.50am.
They found a single-storey dwelling well alight, a fire spokesman said.
It took about an hour to get the blaze under control and it appeared the house was unoccupied, he said.
