A security guard at Auckland City Hospital was "violently assaulted" while attempting to break up a brawl between Hells Angels and King Cobra gang members.
The attack followed a fight that erupted between the two gangs outside the Penthouse Strip Club on Gore St in Auckland at 3.20am on Friday.
Police say several of the gang members were injured during the fight and sought medical assistance at the Auckland City Hospital Accident & Emergency department for their injuries.

Pedersen said later that morning, police stopped a vehicle in Grey Lynn on an unrelated matter and arrested and charged four King Cobra members after locating firearms and drugs in the vehicle.
"Police have identified three other men in relation to the fight and are actively searching for them."
