A Mongrel Mob member who allegedly used a wig disguising his appearance to evade police has been caught.
Barney Te Hau was arrested at a Morrinsville house according to an update by Waikato Police this afternoon.
The 39-year-old, who was allegedly on the run from police since March, is receivingtreatment at an accident and emergency clinic after being bitten by a police dog during the arrest.
Police said he would appear in court tomorrow.
Te Hau allegedly used several disguises including a blond hairpiece to dodge police.
