A man accused of cutting off a monitoring bracelet and going on the run has today denied the charges.
Patrick McGreevy, 45, disappeared overnight Friday, police allege.
Police issued a public appeal for help in tracing McGreevy, on a ten-year extended supervision order under the Parole Act, expiring in 2019.
He was tracked by police and arrested at around 5.30pm on Saturday.
McGreevy appeared from custody at Christchurch District Court today.
