One lucky punter from Greymouth won $8.4m worth of prizes in last night's Lotto draw.
The prize pack consists of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, an Audi Q7, a Rayglass 2200 boat, $50,000 cash towards luxury travel, a $50,000 Platinum VISA card, $675,000 cash towards a bach, as well as $7m cash, NZ Lotteries chief executive Todd McLeay said.
The winning ticket was sold at Greymouth New World.
The Big Wednesday prize has been struck four times in 2011: in July two players from Canterbury won $4.6m each in cash and prizes, in March a player in Wellington won $6.7m, and in January a player in Te Kuiti won $5.2m.
It also comes just over a year since a $10.6m prize was won in the small West Coast town of Reefton.
Mr McLeay advised players to write their name and address on their ticket as soon as possible, confirming ownership, and to contact NZ Lotteries to find out how to get their goodies.
