Save A 19-year-old who suffered critical injuries after being hit by a car near Gore last Saturday night has died.
Brodie Carroll from Gore has died in Dunedin Hospital after being hit by a car on the Waimea Highway, State Highway 94, last Saturday night.
He was flown by helicopter to
Dunedin Hospital following the crash, and did not recover from his injuries.
Police said the investigation in to the crash is continuing, and it was too early to say whether charges would be laid.
