$10,000 writing prize awarded

Hawkes Bay writer Susan Wylie has won this year's $10,000 Bank of New Zealand Katherine Mansfield Award for her story Lolly.

Kerry Challinor of West Auckland won the novice award and Vita Bryant of Wellington the young writer's award.
