Video Journalist in Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa and Gisborne

Patrick O'Sullivan is enjoying the challenge of telling a wide range of stories with the powerful medium of video.

Patrick moved to Hawke's Bay in 2006 inititally teaching at Flaxmere College before trying his hand at journalism, becoming Business Editor at Hawke's Bay Today for the last seven years.

Something of a 'renaissance man', Patrick previously taught at high schools in Auckland, milked cows, and held myriad jobs in Australia, the United States and England.

But Hawke's Bay is home. He's married a Central Hawke's Bay lass and reckons there is no finer place to live than the East Coast of the North Island.

Patrick's Local Focus territory ranges from Gisborne to Wairarapa and he says he has a full tank of gas.

"I know there are scores of stories just waiting to be brought out of the woodwork. I can't wait to bring them to the people of Hawke's Bay and the world."
