"I'm going to carry on doing what I've been doing for the last few years - corporate work as an MC and doing floor shows.
"I'm looking at the possibility of recording again to try to take advantage of the higher profile and the name getting out to a new
group of people.'
"I'm already looking at booking Camillia for a couple of corporate things. I'll certainly utilise Michael and Ben if something suitable comes up.
" I'm MC-ing a conference for panel beaters in Wellington tonight and doing a show tomorrow night. Then I fly to Auckland for the Idol party on Sunday."
Fiona McDonald
Fiona was not available to talk because she has a terrible flu, NZ Idol producers South Pacific Pictures said yesterday. Like Paul, she will also work on TV2's music fundraiser National Anthem on May 29 and 30 as a field reporter in Dunedin. In June she flies to Fiji for her sister's wedding then she will join her partner in London for a two-week holiday, travelling around Europe. Her band, Strawpeople, plans to release an album later this year.
Paul Ellis
"I'm going back to where I came from, working with songwriters, getting deals with record companies for different artists and going back into management. I'm managing Ben and Michael and my current focus is to get Ben's album made and then concentrate on Michael's.
"I'm fielding offers from TV and radio and film for the other members of the Top 10 - I'm working with all of them. There's been a huge rainstorm of requests for them. It's just been crazy, unbelievable. People feel they have ownership of the Idols. I've got to sift through the offers and see what's appropriate.
