Funny Kiwi dad Jordan Watson known for his popular "How to Dad" segments has more advice for his followers - but this time there is not a baby in sight.

This time the popular YouTube poster is coaching viewers how tidy a mancave - but the decluttering session quickly becomes a wistful look at unrealised dreams.

Watson digs around his cluttered garage and picks up various pieces of sporting equipment. Each item evokes a story of his skill and a future in the sport - a dream career only hindered by injury.

"I was actually one of the best rugby players in New Zealand until I had a bad injury and I couldn't play anymore," he says.

Boxing, cricket, cycling sawing and fishing were also sports Watson could have represented New Zealand in if it wasn't for injury.

After posting the comedic video Watson said he injured his back in filming the latest "how to" guide.
