In 3028 the evil Drej have destroyed Earth. Survivors flee on spaceships like the gigantic Titan which carries crucial information. The ship disappears.
We meet our hero, Cale (voiced by Matt Damon), as a "colony bum" working in a space dump, bitter
because he believes his father abandoned him. Cale holds the key to the future of Earth and humanity in the palm of his hand: literally, it's a genetically coded map to Titan's hiding-place.
Soon he's on a mission to find it, with partners including the beautiful Akima (Drew Barrymore); Captain Korso (Bill Pullman); and Gune, the navigator (John Leguizamo).
They have to find Titan before the Drej — a quest that involves comedy, a chase and a cat-and-mouse game. Great animation and a good story.
