We're loving the latest series of DIY reality show, The Block NZ. If, like us you're hooked on the triumphs and tragedies of working on such a massive project why not take yourself out for a sticky beak around the property. We're heard things are looking pretty good from the outside over there so we're keen to take a stroll or ride our bikes around.
Details: The Block property is on the corner of Lake Road and Eversleigh Road, Belmont.
Treat yourself at Little & Friday

Not far from The Block site sits the popular bakery, Little & Friday. (Check out our brunch review from Canvas magazine recently). Pick your favourite sweets and savourites (we recommend the jam doughnut and the bacon and egg pie dressed up with plenty of the homemade relish). The coffee here is great too. If you can't find a pew, get some takeaways and find a nice spot in the Spring sunshine (hopefully!).
