Does nine to five, Monday to Friday, define your working week? Or perhaps your schedule involves a mix of early and late shifts that tend to exceed eight hours a day and spill into the weekend?
Whatever your schedule, are you satisfied with your work-life balance?
According to a surveyof 60,000 employees by careers website Glassdoor, the average work-life balance satisfaction in 2015 was measured at 3.2 out of 5, or "I have to do this to live and sometimes it's okay".
Employees used a rating system where 1.0 means "very dissatisfied" and ranges up to 5.0 meaning "very satisfied".
The results show a decline from previous years where in 2009 the average rating was 3.5.
