That's not a knife ... Camilla puts nervous Charles in his place

He may be the heir to the throne but Prince Charles was given a sharp reminder by the Duchess of Cornwall yesterday as to who's the real boss.

Camilla, a mischievous glint in her eye, jokingly brandished a kitchen knife at him and warned: "Behave yourself!"

Charles gave a mock grimace and eventually replied, "Now listen here..." - but only after his wife had carefully put down the 8in Japanese-style blade.

The pair were presented with a set of hand-forged knives, a gift from the Australian government, as they visited a vineyard on the first day of their official tour of Australia.

Charles and Camilla sampled some red wines at the Seppeltsfield Winery in the Barossa Valley near Adelaide. The Duchess admitted that she loves a tipple. "I am a red wine drinker," she said. "My father was in the wine trade."

The couple then tasted tawny port barrelled in the years of their birth - 1947 for Camilla and 1948 for Charles, who celebrates his 67th birthday on Saturday.

They joked over whose vintage tasted better, with the Prince describing his as "strong and bold" and his wife's as "refined and elegant".
