Makes 4
1 cup plain flour
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup cornmeal
16 prawns
Vegetable or light olive oil
1 French stick, cut into 4
3 Tbs mayonnaise
Lettuce
Sliced tomato [ optional]
Lemon
1 Put the flour into a bowl and season. In a second bowl, whisk the milk and egg.
