While weight gain in pregnancy is inevitable and, for many women, a time to indulge in all your cravings, one Aussie mum has revealed how her husband put her on a strict diet while she was pregnant with her first child.
Maria Di Geronimo is one of the stars of
"Yummy Mummies", a new reality show in which four wealthy Australian women document their fabulous, albeit bizarre, lives as they navigate pregnancy.
Di Geronimo is fast becoming the show's shock-jock, with lines such as: "Breastfeeding in public is illegal, you just don't do it."
But the 29-year-old's biggest bombshell is the revelation that while she was pregnant with her first child, her husband gave her a meal plan in order to help her keep "in shape".
She told New Idea: "When I was pregnant Carlos started this meal prep thing which helped me keep my body in shape.
