Viggo Mortensen stops to talk to Herald journalist Cathy Aronson on the red carpet.

He says "I feel very comfortable here, better than the last four years. I think the people in Wellington and New Zealand had faith in us that we could pull this off" (the film).

He says that even though The Return of the King is the last film in the trilogy, he doesn't feel that it is all over, that he refuses to look at it that way.
